Designer Drugs debuted in 2013 at DOC's solo show in Los Angeles. Three sizes were created: 6 packs (drug store), 4 packs (convenience store soft pack), and single soft packs (to-go), with various brand names over the years.

This is an original sculpture from my Designer Drugs series, created in 2013. It is the final remaining piece from this edition and the only one still in my possession.
This work has had a full exhibition life. It has traveled internationally, been installed in multiple shows, handled, packed, unpacked, and stored over more than a decade. As a result, it is not in mint condition.
The surface shows visible scratches, scuffs, and handling marks throughout, most noticeably along the clear soft pack edges and seams. The reverse has naturally yellowed over time, consistent with the materials used and its age. These details are fully documented in the accompanying photos and should be reviewed carefully.
Condition would be best described as fair. Structurally sound. No repairs or restorations have been made. What you see is exactly how the piece exists today.
In my view, the wear adds to its character. It now reads less as a pristine object and more as a true artifact of that period of my practice. It feels vintage in the literal sense, a surviving object from an earlier moment rather than a freshly produced edition.
The work is signed on the reverse and includes its original certificate of authenticity.
This piece is offered as is, priced accordingly, and intended for collectors who value the history, context, and honesty of an object that has lived in the world.
If you are looking for perfect surfaces, this is not that piece.
If you are looking for the last existing example from this series, with a visible history and no replicas to follow, this is it.
This is a handmade sculpture. Each is made one at a time. Clean with a dry cloth. Do not use a cleaning solution. Keep out of direct sunlight to ensure color for years to come.
