The Meltdown series takes everything shiny and temporary and makes it permanent, whether it deserves to be or not. These oversized blow pops are frozen mid-collapse—bright, glossy, seductive—and too familiar for comfort.
 
They’re about attention spans. About how fast we move on. How easy it is to discard people, objects, and ideas the second they stop entertaining us.
A nine-foot Cherry Meltdown once stood along Venice’s Grand Canal. Most people took selfies with it. That felt about right.
 
We’re offering Fuchsia Midsized Meltdown, number 6 of 25. It’s 30 inches tall, cast in UV resin, with my signature on the bottom and “Desire Obtain Cherish” embedded in the stick. Made to order. Ships in 6–8 weeks.
 
Auction prices vary. A lemon version from this series went for $13,673 (Ravenel). Other works have gone higher—up to $34,573.

I once had dinner with a friend who said she was bored of her boyfriend. “He’s not doing much with his life,” she told me. “I know I can find better.”
 
So I asked, “Nothing’s actually wrong—you just want to throw him away because you’re bored?”
 
“Yeah,” she said. “It’s a big world out there. On to the next.”
 
That’s the whole idea behind Meltdown.
