Don't Look Like Art / Text Bubble Sculpture 2/6
Part of Jonathan Paul’s Words on a Wall series, this two-line exchange that refuses reassurance. One bubble admits the obvious. The other finishes the thought without apology. Together, they operate as a quiet critique of how art is consumed, labeled, and domesticated, especially in a moment where aesthetics travel faster than meaning.
The work collapses the distance between commentary and object, irony and sincerity. It does not ask to be liked, explained, or defended. It simply hangs there, aware of the room, aware of the market, and comfortable with the discomfort that follows.
